A powerful solar eruption is expected to blast a stream of charged particles toward Earth tomorrow (Jan. 24), as the strongest radiation storm since 2005 rages on the sun.

Early this morning (0359 GMT Jan. 23, which corresponds to late Sunday, Jan. 22 at 10:59 p.m. EST), NASA's Solar Dynamics Observatory caught an extreme ultraviolet flash from a huge eruption on the sun , according to the skywatching website Spaceweather.com.

The solar flare spewed from sunspot 1402, a region of the sun that has become increasingly active lately. Several NASA satellites, including the Solar Dynamics Observatory, the Solar Heliospheric Observatory (SOHO), and the Stereo spacecraft observed the massive sun storm.

A barrage of charged particles triggered by this morning's solar flare is expected to hit Earth tomorrow at around 9 a.m. EST (1400 GMT), according to experts at the Space Weather Prediction Center, a division of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. According to NOAA, this is the strongest solar radiation storm since May 2005, and as a precaution, polar flights on Earth are expected to be re-routed within the next few hours, Kathy Sullivan, deputy administrator of NOAA, said today at the 92nd annual American Meteorological Society meeting in New Orleans, La.

Scientists call these electromagnetic bursts "coronal mass ejections" (CMEs), and they are closely studied because they can produce potentially harmful geomagnetic storms when the charged particles rain down Earth's magnetic field lines.

In addition to generating stronger than normal displays of Earth's auroras (also known as the northern and southern lights), geomagnetic storms aimed directly at our planet can also disrupt satellites in orbit, cause widespread communications interference and damage other electronic infrastructures.

"There is little doubt that the cloud is heading in the general direction of Earth," Spaceweather.com announced in an alert. "A preliminary inspection of SOHO/STEREO imagery suggests that the CME will deliver a strong glancing blow to Earth's magnetic field on Jan. 24-25 as it sails mostly north of our planet."

Sunday's solar flare was rated an M9-class eruption, which placed it just on the verge of being an X-class flare, the most powerful type of solar storm. M-class sun storms are powerful but mid-range, while C-class flares are weaker.

NASA routinely monitors space weather conditions to determine any potential hazards to the astronauts aboard the International Space Station. Based on the agency's assessment, the six spaceflyers currently living and working on the orbiting outpost are not in any danger, said NASA spokesman Kelly Humphries.

"The flight surgeons have reviewed the space weather forecasts for the flare and determined that there are no expected adverse effects or actions required to protect the on-orbit crew," Humphries told SPACE.com in an email.

Last week, a separate sunspot group unleashed several M-class flares, and SDO scientists said these types of flares are occurring almost daily as the sun's rotation slowly turns the region toward Earth.

The sun's activity waxes and wanes on an 11-year cycle. Currently, our planet's nearest star is in the midst of Solar Cycle 24, and activity is expected to ramp up toward solar maximum in 2013.

AMERICA BABYLON: IS OBAMA ITS KING?

FIGURE 1: AMERICA IS BABYLON. A recent e-mail received asserted that America is Babylon. She wanted to know if the Torah Code supported her belief. Before answering concern let me preface my answer about Babylon (generally thought of as Rome) with a statement about who I am. I am a retired U.S. military officer, and Modern Orthodox, Jew. The New Testament is not part of my religion’s canon; therefore its description of Babylon as the Mother of Harlots that sits on 7 hills is not part of my belief system. I do, however, view the Vatican as an evil manifestation of Esau. I am less than thrilled by its Inquisitions, Concordat with Nazi Germany in 1933, its choice of an ex-Nazi as the current pope, its meddling in American politics, and its ever constant plague of sexual child abuse.

Historically, Babylon was found in present day Iraq, a nation that the United States twice defeated in modern times. I was proud to play a smal role in each of those wars, and I think the American people are the greatest people on Earth, in every respect. But our government is in trouble - largely due to the liberal (lack of) values that fly in the face of Torah Law. Only in this sense did I consider looking for (and finding) the axis term on the matrix above - BABYLON (is) AMERICA (note: there is no state of being verb is in Hebrew, it is supplied when appropriate by the translator). When I did find it, I was shocked to see that OBAMA is at the same absolute skip (but opposite direction). BARACK at skip -1 crossed and shared the letter resh with BABYLON (is) AMERICA. ROME is shown at skip +2, ESAU is shown in the open text. The open text phrase BEHOLD WE PERISH WE ARE UNDONE AND WE ARE ALL UNDONE because I found it earlier in association with Barry Soetoro, the name that Barack Obama used during his childhood in Indonesia. See Figure 4 further below.

(I would like to comment on the above by reminding everyone of the KENYAN PROPHECY concerning Obama that most people mock and refuse to believe. In that prophecy Obama is the last president of the United States and destroys it because he hates America and everything she stands for - Stewart Best)

STATISTICAL SIGNIFICANCE OF FIGURE 1. As per my standard protocol, no statistical significanceis assigned to the axis term, here BABYLON (is) AMERICA. By far the most significant aspect of the matrix is OBAMA at the same absolute skip of the axis term. There was only about 1 chance in 513 to find this name with this (prefered) spelling at skips +/-1 or at the absolute skip of BABYLON (is) AMERICA. The phrase BEHOLD WE PERISH WE ARE UNDONE AND WE ARE ALL UNDONE, while of interest because I saw it before in conjunction with Figure 4, was not sought a-priori and is therefore not part of the significance calculation. BARACK was at a special case skip, but it had about 1 chance in 3 to be there in such fashion, though this allows no credit for it crossing and sharing a letter with the axis term. ROME is at skip +2 (not a special case skip). It was expected to be somwhere on the matrix (it was easier to find than calling a coin toss correctly. ESAU is shown in the open text. It was there in this fashion against odds of about 3 to 1. Overall the matrix exists against odds of about 9,153 to 1; but what is of real interest is the pattern of Obama continuing to come up at the skip as the axis term on so many matrices. It begins to look like a main purpose of the Torah Code is to warn us about this man.

Odds against a match this good in a 60-letter matrix with PRESIDENT at a special case skip (+/- 1 or the absolute skip of the axis term) were about 58 to 1.

It takes 36 letters to show PRESIDENT parallel to his name. The same phrase from Numbers 17:27 shown on Figure 1, Behold WE PERISH, we are undone, we are all undone, is shown.

(Why do we find "we are all undone", "we are undone", "behold we perish" in these codes? Because Obama is being used by the Lord to destroy the United States, destroy the Middle Class, change us from a Republic to a socialist/fascist Nazi Police State. Obama is the one who asked Congress to put into NDAA 2012 the roundup provisions for any American citizen for any reason whatsoever. He even said in a speech that he had the power to roundup anyone he wanted, but "would not do it". He is totally lawless, and many Christians have been told that Obama is "the lawless one" and "Antichrist". If he is, he will manifest himself even more in the very near future. The King of Babylon KILLS HIS OWN PEOPLE BY THE MILLIONS (NDAA 2012 roundups).The second reason we find this is because God is about to DESTROY AMERICA not only from within, but from without. FIGURE 5 - BUSH (is) KING OF BABYLON : Although at first glance many people may see President George W. Bush as the opposite of President Barack Obama, in fact nobody in America did more to elect Obama than Bush. I refer, of course, to the total incompetence that Bush exhibited throughout his sorry time in the White House, an opportunity initially provided to him only through a stolen election in Florida in 2000. He almost single handedly destroyed our economy, and he let Bin Laden escape at Tora Bora in Afghanistan. So it's not a surprise to find that Bush is also in sequence with the 6 letters of BUSH (is) KING OF BABYLON . It's only the 3 letters that spell BUSH in Hebrew, so his father could also be implied (as could his brother, Jeb, if he ever wins the presidency. The 140-letter match in this matrix with PRESIDENT is, however, not as good as the 6-letter between KING OF BABYLON (is) BARACK and PRESIDENT shown on Figure 3. on Figure 5 the word PRESIDENT was not at a special case skip. Such such, it had about 1 chance in 6 to be on this matrix (not significant).

Millions of Christians stand before the Lord utterly rejected, with no hope of salvation. No one wants to talk about it. No one wants to face it.
